They want to really turn him into a villain.

Trae should fully embrace it and become the most hated player in the league.

And his teammates should follow.  They need some sort of edge, an identity.

Maybe this is it.

or trae should do something really crazy and just play harder, make much better decisions while running the offense, win a bunch of games, stop complaining, etc.

I know, I know, that's crazy talk.  Why get better when you can just get mad, right?

Cmon dude, he played 48 games. Trae played 52.    No need to pump up your post with nonsense.

So the rest of his post made sense and you agree Trae should've been in over Demar and Jrue right?

The only thing that Trae could've done to make the All-Star team, is to either average 30 and 10, or see the Hawks be top 5 in the East.  That way, there would be too much noise made over him being snubbed.

Trae has been so good the past 3 seasons, that a below average shooting 27 ppg - 10 asst season is looked at as being trash.

Trae has shot 46% FG - 37% 3FG for about 25 games now. And he's been consistently around the 27 ppg - 10 asst mark.  His team is still hovering around .500.

So how much better does he need to play?  Does he need to shoot 50% FG - 42% FG . . and average 30 ppg - 12 asst?

So basically Trae has to play like the best PG of all time, just to get the recognition he deserves.

Here are some other things he could've done to make the team:

1.  Play better, shoot better

2.  Win more games

3.  have a better attitude.  Maybe start by not skipping attending a game.

you guys act like it's all stat based when it's clearly not.  There's a reason he was picked 12th amongst coaches and it;'s not because every single coach in the league is an a-hole.

He wasn’t picked 12th among coaches.  That was among players.  The ones who voted for a rookie who hasn’t even played this season, etc.

1.  He's doing that

2. That's a given.  Wins are determined by overall team effectiveness.  If wins really mattered, Lebron wouldn't be in the All-Star game.

3. Attitude is not / should not be an All-Star criteria determination

All-Star game selections, historically, is heavily stat based, because the stars of the league put up stats. Only exceptions are if you have a very good team with an outstanding record ( Hawks in 2015 ).

And the players picked him 12th, not the coaches
