1) Al Horford! talk about the inside presence we need! he was the biggest guy out in the court. not literally, but it sure seemed like it!

2) Joe Johnson- allstar. enough said. no one should question whether or not hes an allstar. hes our leader.

3) Josh Smith- played under control. Played his all around game.

4) T-Lue- as much as we diss him... this is one of the few times we are NOT ALLOWED to diss him. he made some huge shots at the end.

our hawks play at the competition of our opponents. Lakers are a good team and we beat them! what a great win!

Yep - T.Lue is out of the Hawksquawk doghouse - at least until Friday night.

Horford was a monster.

P.S. - LOVED that back-court call on Kobe (I'm amazed the ref had the guts to get it right).

Kobe: 11 pts, Pau 12 pts. They played like ass tonight. Glad to see it!

Good timing for the Hawks that the Lakers were exhausted. Their energy level was probably out the roof last night...

Don't the Cavs play the night before the Hawks game???

Edit: Yep. They play AT Houston on Thursday before coming to Atlanta on Friday.

One of the best wins of the year without a doubt. The best one since the win over Orlando for sure. The combo of it being a road game, Kobe being hurt, and LA needing time to gel really helped the Hawks out tonight. It almost felt like the Lakers were not even taking this game seriously until the end. They just kind of coasted.

Nice. Good scouting!

I will say Kobe's finger probably bothered him, but Gasol has no excuse. Boy he was getting pushed around and intimidated out there.
