REPORT: Super Mario coming back for 10 days..

The one "major" thing that happens with the return of Mario, is that Crawford doesn't have to be out on the floor with the scrub unit during blowouts. This also indirectly helps Teague, because now Woody has the option to go with a Teague - West - Evans backcourt, essentially giving Teague TOTAL CONTROL of the offense, insteas of the partial control he shared with Crawford.

As far as West's role on the team, give him his position back . . . as the best 1:30 end of the 2nd quarter defender in the NBA. If Woody wants to "extend" his playing time, let Teague continue to play in the 1st half, but let Mario ger 3 - 4 minutes in the 2nd half. He'll serve as the defensive 2-guard as Crawford runs the point and Evans/Marvin plays the 3.

LOL . . having said all of that, it's just a 10-day contract ( 4 games ). If anything, Mario gives us an extra cheerleader on the team.

Right, North, I think in the last blowout win(didn't pay no attention to the losses, lol) Joe Smith was playin SF in order for Jamal to come out.

I know that is what happened but who cares if we have three Collins and two Joe Smiths out on the floor when we are down over 30 and shooting less than 40%? Woody does; other than him no one.

PG or a rebounder is what we needed and as Online said: if the other options do not work out, Mario will still be out there.

welcome back mario !! his role will stay the same as last year, right? wonder how he'll be subbed in now with teague, crawford, and evans on the team ... but really we could use someone like evans ... watching joe johnson and mike bibby trying to stick with rondo is traumatizing.

Not bad... not bad at all. But those turnovers per game look scary, and 68% FT? Looks like he's the same ol' same ol' as he was back then.

Seems like he was trying to do to much in the Jan. 9 game. Other than that it doesn't look too bad. Seems like he has improved his passing a lot, is getting to the line at will, and is starting to take more 3's. He has always been a very good rebounder. I wouldn't be mad if he took Mo's minutes. He is a better defender.
