Boston got a 1st round pick for a Doc. Not sure if same applies for assistants.

Assistant coaches can't be traded to become head coaches of another team. If they have a head coaching opportunity, you lose them for nothing...

Kind of like the Spurs losing some Assistant last offseason without compensation.

I say he stays another year, helps develop Bebe, Shredder, and JJ, then holds out for another Head Job opening up next year. All of them should be better than Utah. All they have is Burke and sh&t after Hayward bolts.

No, us taking Bud hurt the Spurs a lot more than us losing Quin will. Spurs nation had Bud lined up to be Pop's successor and Danny swept through and made him our HC. No one is looking at Quin as a future HC of the Hawks. Bud's our guy for a long while.
