Afro
Teague didn't play the 4th quarter at all did he?
Popular Post ersimo2889
Man, he looked good (and incredibly composed!) - I wish the lineup that Bud was trying out with him and Teague on the court at the same time would work, but it just.. doesn't. Love that Bud showed trust in him leaving him in during crunch time and love even more that he delivered!
ATLHawks3
He's developing. He's becoming a floor leader, similar to what he did in his first Summer League last year. I'm excited as hell to find out what more Schröder can do, because right now, the future is looking bright!
MrMeltdown
So a guy has a game that would not rank top 30 for the guy you want him to replace and his era officially begins. Okay, I got it.
Mdizzle5
I can't believe some people still doubt Herr Shredder. For Shame! Edited November 11, 2014 by Mdizzle5

Okay, I got it. Dennis deserves this run. He's growing and I'm happy. I'm a fan for sure. That's not bad no matter how many people dismiss it.

GameTime
Barring a trade Teague, he is still the starter. So pump your brakes. Dennis will get 22-25 minutes a game from now on the way he is playing though.

Admin
Yeah I don't think this means anything for Teague. I'm actually starting to think that we are heavily showcasing Dennis. I hope that's not the case but there's no way we stick with all 3 PGs. He looked great tonight outside of a couple of bad turnovers.

Wasnt too long ago, pre Bibby trade I think, where we were starving for a pg for years. Feels good.
Premium Member Sothron Posted November 11, 2014 Premium Member Report Share Posted November 11, 2014 Time to trade Teague and start Dennis. This kid has just been fantastic this year, going back to summer league.

That would suck, - but showcasing won't start until after December 15 up to the trade deadline. Remember Lou getting a lot of playing time at PG close to the deadline last year. Goots
Agree Teague is the player you trade for a legit SF here. Schröder is going to be a star

Remember Lou getting a lot of playing time at PG close to the deadline last year. Showcasing starts now for a guy who's never done anything. The more and the better he plays the more value he has. Maybe they're not showcasing him but it's fishy that Mack isn't playing much if at all.
terrell
Showcasing Dennis? lol.. No way Ferry trades his prized INTERNATIONAL 1se rdr that's getting better and better. Could end up being his Tony Parker..
Moderators Popular Post PSSSHHHRRR87 Posted November 11, 2014 Moderators Popular Post Report Share Posted November 11, 2014 Bud played the hot hand, that is all. Schröder is our backup, and Teague had a bad game. Simple as that... Don't get me wrong, I love seeing this out of Schro, but as said before, let's pump the brakes. It's been two good games for Schro... We'll see how Schröder plays against an actual PG. Both games he showed out were against the Knicks. Playing well vs. Shane Larkin and Iman Shumpert is hardly something to get excited about. I swear, Hawks' fans have short term memory loss and don't look past next week. Let's not forget that Teague has been good for us so far before tonight.
Sarcatic1
I’ve been a big Teague supporter but tonight is why its so frustrating to watch him. All the talent in the world but for some reason he has games where he looks so uninterested. I really thought he had matured to the point where we didn’t have to worry about these type of performances. I can understand having a bad game but its absolutely no excuse to play with no type of effort or energy. He was just going through the motions. I’m happy coach benched him. I’m glad Dennis is playing well but its no way you trade Jeff and start Dennis after 4 or 5 good games. I remember when people wanted to trade Jeff last year and let Mack start after some good games. I hope Jeff bounces back but we shouldn’t be seeing these type of games at this point in his career.
