I liked his work ethic to improve after we got him in the draft - but he is past his real performance area - I don't miss him at all.

Josh has yet to change.  He seems pretty comfortable being what he is as a player and collecting that paycheck.

 

Which is fine with me because he's doing it somewhere else!

I won't lie I miss a lot of things that Josh Smith did. From being the dazzling rookie who dunked over everyone and swatted away shots like crazy, to the kid who put on the Nique jersey and won the slam dunk title, to the guy who made passes that I have never seen anyone else in a Hawks uniform make... I really hate that he didn't end up becoming the player that he could have been.

Josh Smith and Michael Vick are the two most exciting and frustrating athletes I've watched in Atlanta. I wouldn't be as big a fan today without them, but I don't miss them. Everyone knew it was Josh's time to go.

I don't necessarily miss him...but I think his time in Atlanta ran its course. He was kinda of an enigma for . He needed to be on floor, but frustrating at the same time.

This post reminds me of a story I heard long ago:

 

Seems that this older couple owned a brass spittoon.  Since the gentleman chewed,
