There are 3 recent teams I could think of that could've gotten this honor but came short.

1. A lot of Spurs teams (07, 12, 14), but are overshadowed by Tim and Manu off the bench.

2. Larry Brown Pistons at their peak, never performed on offense like these Hawks.

3. Nash Suns at their peak:overshadowed by Nash, never performed on defense anywhere close to these Hawks.

For this team to make history this late in the season is just phenomenal and a testament to their hopefully Hall of Fame-worthy teamwork.

They are hating it over at RealGM. The award has been sullied by this haberdashery. I'm about to tell someone to stfu, this wouldn't have happened had they just put Nique on the 50 greatest team like they should have.

I saw you dropped the knowledge about multiple players winning in before, lol.

That should send them back under a rock.

Excellent. Good to see that the powers that be had the BBIQ to realize that the streak was truly a team effort. The sky is truly the limit with this group as long as they continue to move the ball and play tough defense.
