Who we will draft? We should fall somewhere in the 8-12 range.

I like Dekker and Hunter in the non-lotto range.

I hadn't seen the Dekker kid play until the tourney but man is he talented and has a bit of a 'tude too (good thing).

He's inconsistent and has a couple of kinks in his game he needs to work out but yea, he's athletic and huge for a wing.

I like dekker, but Idk if where he fits. Our sg needs to shoot really good and he is a 30% shooter from 3. At Sf he isnt better than demarre or thabo. Give me someone with rj hunter or hehezonja's skillset to groom behind korver

I like him as a 3 for us, but if Hezonja's available then I'd rather have him. I think it'll take a top 10 pick to land Hezonja or Johnson though. It looks like Winslow has played his way out of our range, which is a shame cuz he was my first choice at the 2/3 spot.

If we're picking around #15 I'd like either Dekker or Lyles, personally. In theory I like Hunter but I haven't watched him that much.

Coming along on Dekker as well, just watched the 2nd half of Wisconsin Kentucky. Don't like his handles and lankyness but his skillset meshes with what we do as a team. Someone who can shoot the three, pass, rebound and play some defense. I think if we drafted him we'd be looking at a starter, just needs to get stronger.

I would be worried with Dekker about making a judgment on his perimeter shooting based on the last few games.  He has looked very good from 3 the last few games.  He has been pretty terrible from 3 for his entire college career before then.  Small sample size.

Yeah, the more I read on Dekker the less I like.  Seems folks have been looking for him to play this well for the last what 3 years but he just hasn't delivered until the last coupla games.

Seems he's been this skilled since HS but just disappears in a lot of games.

On a semi-related note, here's a decent rundown of wing prospects by David Aldridge:

http://www.nba.com/news/features/david_aldridge/david-aldridge-big-board-shooting-guards-2015-nba-draft/index.html?ls=iref:nbahpt3c

Touches on a lot of guys we're discussed (not 'touches on' like Dolfan touches guys but you know what I mean):

Hezonja -

"He's got a little swagger to him," a Southeast Division executive said. "...I think those Euro kids have to have some of that coming over here. He's awfully gifted. He can guard okay, and he's a capable shooter and a good passer. He checks off a lot of boxes that you're looking for in a wing. He allows how he's playing on the offensive end to determine how much effort he's going to give you defensively. But he's big. Agile for his size. He has a little nastiness to him that will serve him well if he decides to compete at the defensive end."

Booker (this dude's face scares me. is he a ghost?) -

"He's not anything special athletically but you have to know where he is at all times," the executive said. "He plays well off of other players. Pretty smart kid. The way our league is going there's going to be a lot of value for him."

Hunter -

Skinny guys have done well in the NBA -- Reggie Miller seemed to hold up. And skinny guys that can shoot as well as Hunter will get the benefit of the doubt. "He can shoot and has a high basketball IQ," one Western Conference executive texted. "...An extremely poor man's Reggie Miller."

LeVert (didn't realize he'd had a Jones fracture aka what Durant has):

"He has a knack for creating off the dribble," one scout said. "He's going to get knocked around a little with that body, but he's still young and he might get past that. Before the injury, he had the ball in his hands a lot. He's just a playmaker. He maybe isn't going to bring the ball up the floor but he can handle the ball well enough and makes plays enough that he might get you 14 points and four or five assists."

Justise Winslow or Russell seem to fit what the Hawks need. Winslow has the motor of a football player which is pretty much half the battle in the NBA. The fact he can actually score makes him that much more valuable. He sort of reminds me of a stronger Jimmy Butler that doesn't mind mixing it up inside for some reason. I still like Russell though. For a kid to have that much skill and poise at that age is amazing. His ability to create shots, score off the ball, and pass is exactly what the Hawks need. But both of these guys will be long gone by the time the Hawks pick though unless the Hawks and the bottom quarter of the Eastern Conference Playoff race does something about it.

Poor man's Reggie Miller? I don't think so. It's always hard to compare a HOF to a college kid. Comparing rookie Reggie to HOF Reggie is not comparable.

Both are top five picks. A lot of teams can use top five picks.

What stood out about R.J. is one scout compared him to Bradley Beal and at worst Ben McLemore.

Yeah, I cringed when I read that.  I don't like Hunter that much.  Kinda looks like a one-sided specialist to me.

On a related note, Dekker's disappearing act returned last night.

I hope we can jedi-mind trick teams into passing on Winslow.  Hey, I can dream.

Dekker was 'ok' but I wasn't all that impressed with him to be honest. I've always been wary of guys who are inconsistent. Somebody posted that his good shootng as of late was a relatively small sample size. Speaking of small sample size, how good is this Grayson Allen kid looking right now? All I read about was Okafor, Winslow, and Jones and this kid comes out of nowhere to have an impact in the Final Four and the Championship.

I am indifferent, Hunter is one of my favorite prospects. Opinions tend to be all over the place in regards to Hunter.

I have given up on Brooklyn staying out of the playoffs and so we will draft either 15 or 16 ... I wonder if Dirk Jr. (Kaminsky) will still be on the board.

No don't give up! There's still hope. They're barely in the Playoffs. We need to SMASH them again this week.
