I have a question. Is there a reason that the Raptors select guys that specifically look like dinosaurs? First Vince Carter, then Tmac, then Bosh and now DeMarr. Am I the only one that has this theory? Perhaps not Carter and Tmac as much, but you cannot look me in the eyes and tell me Bosh doesn't look like one, or Demarr's eyes, it's like I'm watching Jurassic Park (new one or 93)

Awesome job lw3, very interesting. What I personally learn from your numbers is that I have an up n coming team hopefully with enough talent to contend in a few years. I'm not looking at any rings in 2016 and 2017 for sure. I may have a shot in 2018-2023 to be a serious contender, I think :-|

Lol...I think that's because Squawk members are smart.

I considered Josh Smith. Went as far as typing his name. But then I remembered his favorite shot is the 3 pointer...I had flashbacks...and that was the end of that.

 

I'm honestly shocked Nikola Pekovic never got taken. I was considering him as early as the 8th round but ended up picking Asik to do the role of the big man rebounding specialist. Sure he's not young, sure he's coming off injury, but Pekovic is a very good player.
