Prince getting that 2009 - 10 Jeff Teague treatment.  Vets who aren't factors every game ( or are flat out sucking ), get major minutes anyway, which suppresses young talent.  We just have to hope that when Prince finally gets his shot ( due to an injury ... or next year ), that he takes full advantage of it just like Teague did.

With consistent minutes, Prince has the offensive tools to be a much better offensive player than Thabo and consistently have more impact on a game than Korver.  He's already better all around than Baze.  But Bud can't sit him over the rookie, because of the contract.

Which is saying Bud can't sit Baze because of Bud/Budcox and not the level of play by Prince. Glad Baze has shown signs of life here the past few to soften the irritation.

There was an opportunity to play Prince when everyone was sucking and we lost 10 games.   Instead Bud has shortened the rotation, increased minutes for the usual suspects and voila we are winning.    So having run off 4 in a row I don't see Prince, or really anybody new, getting increased minutes.

Some decent highlights and I am glad to see Prince doing well, but only having one assist is a little concerning. Some of those shots didn't look like the smartest and were decently contested. Granted you never know if the Hawks coaches were telling him to work on being aggressive or something. The 4 STLs and 3 BS is a huge plus. Dude is active on defense!

Prince really reminds you of Gerald Wallace on defense. It's on offense where he's impressive. His feel is very high and his ability to score in different ways is sound. You see parts of his game where's raw. Like while having a feel for the game, he needs to make lead passes more often. He's good at it with Bembry but needs work with just about everyone else.

R.J. is still in the States so that is something. Of course Jared Cunningham is probably going to end up very rich because he finally found his place way over yonder so good income may be awaiting R.J. over there as well.

Give Prince 20 minutes a night he can handle it he stayed in college for this very reason...experience ..so he's ready!

 

I love Scott too he brings and exciting fast paced style of shooting and runnin n gunnin.
