Hawks Current Draft and Stash Players

Curious to see how he can play in the NBA. He's physically matured now at 6'7 207. He's a legit SG. Considering our lack of depth after Kevin and Cam, we could use another sharp.

Remember to keep picturing what he'll look like in a Hawks jersey as he ages overseas only to become a trade throw-in well after he's outlived his usefulness.

When you are dealing with second round picks, nearly all of those guys wash out.  It isn't like we have a great track record with our history of Salim, Priest, 

But some of these draft and stash guys work out. 

• Manu is the HOF example of a guy who marinated overseas for a few years and then became a key fixture for 4 championship rosters.
• 2014 draftee Bogdan Bogdanovic has been good (came over for the 2017-18 season).
• 2011 draftee Bojan Bodganovic has been even better (came over for the 2014-15 season).
• Peja Stojakovic was a home run
• etc.

I don't have hopes that Eriksson would be at their level but I don't think he needs to be to be a positive impact addition.  If he is a poor man's Kyle Korver, that would be a nice weapon to have coming off the bench.  So I'm excited to see if he could be something more real than David Andersen.  And if he busts, it is no big loss.

At the end of the day, elite sharps aren't easy to find who have legit shot creation skill. He's 6'7 207 so he has the SG size needed. We need 5th and 6th wings. Getting them to sign isn't easy when we don't have much PT to offer.

Our overlooked, stashed assets.  Are they really valuable?  Probably not a lot.  Otherwise, we would have some use of them, don't you think?
