Yeah, I don't really get this, mainly because he's 28 yrs old.

But when you looked at our roster before Stone's release, there did appear to be room for someone who could play both the 3 and the 4. So just from a roster balance perspective, it makes some sense.

Personally, I was more inclined toward someone who (a) was/is younger/develop-able, and (b) could defend both the 3 and the 4... and from what I'm reading, he's somewhere between the Kyles--ie, Korver and Anderson. Korver, at least, was considered adequate for awhile in that way.

Then again, yeah, have to agree there was a solid argument that this roster needed at least one more shooter.

Schlenk has now signed two forwards since telling the AJC employee that he planned to sign a PG and a big.

Babbitt has experience but I'd of rather had Clark even if he cost a little more. All these one year deals are just rentals though. Re-appraise next season and go from there.

As I said in a previous post, I will be watching the Hawks on league pass to see how our young team develops with Dennis leading the way. Dennis our best starting Vet this year, who would have ever thought that one?
