I'm just busy. But I'll post from time to time for the conversation  (yes even the tank/no tank ones) to see other perspectives. Right now there isn't a ton to talk about as we all know the direction of the team this season. Most are in a wait and see mode for off-season discussion. But I will look at a lot of posts to get some viewpoints to think about even if I don't join the convo.

I wasn’t here for those dark Shareef/ Jet/ Billy Knight years so I almost feel like I have to watch this team and comment as a way to pay the dues my forefathers did.  I don’t mind watching The Tank roll out when Delaney’s cheerleading and Baze is off the ball.  It’s time to start trying to hide Dennis some kinda way on defense too.

The blatant and non stop troll warfare from two posters has almost completely killed my interest in posting and I know from speaking to other posters that I'm not alone in feeling that way. You add those two things up and its a shock we have any posts other than the Negative Nancies on this site.

It was a definite shock to me to see so many lifetime donors banned for no apparent reason.  It is the primary reason I have stopped posting on and donating to this site.

I miss the exiled posters too.  Throw in @MaceCase and they made for some good high-brow comedy (in Spud’s case a dash of sexual deviance).  I didnt even think women followed the Hawks, let alone be as knowledgeable as Jay.

To be fair, they aren't banned, they just choose not to come back for their own reasons. Best to ask them over on realgm since I don't want to speak for them. I just don't want people here holding something against the mods when those people have not been banned.

Guys let me say two things.  First, the initial dustup on this was unduly hot on both sides.  What kicked that off went on in public and  Dolf issued an apology and didn't ask for one in return and GM was reinstated immediately.  He was nevertheless upset and has not elected to return to date or respond to efforts to reach out to him (at least not to mine).

Second, what led to the second round of conflict was something that did not happen in the public view and was not generated by any Mod or Admin here.  I hope that lethalweapon3, PSSSHHHRRR and I have earned some degree of trust as moderators and Dolfan has as the full time IT support and guy personally financing the site to know that not a single one of us didn't absolutely hate having to confront that second issue.  All of us were unanimous that action had to be taken -- which again given the time we have been a part of the site I hope has given those who have been here a while a sense that if all four of us see a red flag issue that our judgment is not likely so out of whack to just randomly go after anyone on the site.  

Since that three person ban, we have had some dialogue and some of the posters have been reached out to about potential returns but it is unlikely that all three would return without significantly more dialogue.  We have tried to avoid having this issue spill out into the forum too much out of respect for those people but it is just a shit situation to have to confront.  I'm sure all parties feel that given the history here but it was something that we all felt had to be addressed.

Where we go from here depends not on anything that people want to speculate about but is more about finding a ground that both the departed posters and those of us then involved in moderating or administering the site are all comfortable on and that may vary based on the individual (such as the open invite GM has had for around half a year).  So while I'm sympathetic to the curiosity and concern, there is nothing that posts on here will accomplish and nothing that it will bring to light that isnt already on the table.  Thanks.

I've never been an excessive poster, but have only slowed as I've gone back to school (on top of family and full time job). 

But one of my favorite times as a squawker was during the deepest bowels of terrible for the team. I am proud to be the first poster to share the rumor of the team checking out my all time favorite brute-junk player, Esteban "El Toro" Batista.

Shitty teams do put a hamper on viewing opportunities, though, when you're too cheap to pony up for league pass.

With LeBron in town tonight we should have some posting going on during and after at least. Anybody drooling over the Plumeee vs Love probable matchup. Those two should have an astronomical plus/minus difference I would think, not in a good way. Tristan is out for a while and both Dedmon and Moose are out so wondering the number of minutes the other two actually match up.

Best use of Plumlee is to send him over to the Cavs to say hi to Iman Schumpert and reminisce about old ACC games along with a huge amount of pot to share with the entire Cleveland team.
