Long story short, F U Buttz. 

This is another thing the team could have negotiated as part of releasing Bud from his contract - that whoever hired him next would not poach their coaches.  But Schlenk just let him walk without getting anything in return.  Blows my mind.

Yes.  He's very clearly lacking when it comes to negotiating skills.

Schlenk doesn't want any remnants of the Bud regime.   This is all by design.   Not saying it's smart but Travis wants to build everything himself.
