Hawks will miss out on both Zion and Barrett. Cavs getting that #1 pick.

So they picking Zion and Barrett with their #1 pick? ?

Zion needs to prove that he can shoot from the perimeter before he goes #1 overall.  Only 7% of his shots are three point shots, and he hits those at just 33%.  Plus, he's a 60% free throw shooter.  This is a skill that he doesn't currently have.  Get excited about the dunks all you want, but his shooting skill is very far behind his athleticism.

Cam Reddish is the guy on that Duke team that Travis Schlenk is going to want.

For once we actually agree on something.

Doesn't it feel good to be correct?

I said previously if it’s my choice between the duke trio I take reddish because there is something special with him. He would make the hawks better. I also mentioned bol bol too for the shooting, rebounding, blocking.  Zion is nice but truthfully questions about him will not get answered this year because teams in college will have a hard time defending him.

76ers won’t make playoffs.

Welp, they won’t win 50 games.

Welp, they won’t make it out of 1st round.

Over/Under on Hawks 1st win is 12, I’m taking the over (1-12).

Welp, 2-20 then.

I think Royjr was saying that last year when he was correct that Philly would make the playoffs.

He just hates taking we as I despise paying a middling aging core.  If the hawks take Zion Collins would be traced. Which I also said last year what do you see from Collins and prince and he said I was anti Collins. Zion is better than Collins and he ain’t coming off the bench the only thing him and LeBron have in common is the have grown man physiques to go along with being talented. With reddish, Jones, and Barrett teams will not force Zion into shooting threes which is the biggest mystery to his game can he go out to the perimeter and be good.  Also when if KB thought about half of what he said before he goes all they tanked they won’t have success he’d have seen too that philli. Would be a playoff team.

Again, at some point, he's going to face someone that can force him away from the basket.  Right now, his jumper looks bad to me.  To be such a great athlete, he gets very little lift on his jump shots.

Just curious would you have drafted Ingram or Brown over Ben Simmons in the 2016 draft?

You don’t think Prince-Zion-Collins would work?  Especially when you look at teams like the Warriors starting 6’7 Draymond Green at C in the playoffs, Cavs starting 6’10 Tristan Thompson at C, Rockets playing 6’6 PJ Tucker at PF and C etc.

Yeah I gotta be honest, while I didn't do much homework on anybody prospect wise as I was busy mentally elsewhere, I didn't want Zion but it was just because I wanted other prospects (to be different). Now that I've seen him its wow.

I'd still probably prefer Reddish but I don't think you can go wrong with going with Zion.

In terms of playing against embid and some of the others no. Usually though draymond is starting with a big of some sort and plays center as the game goes along when they go small.

Other than dunking.. what skills has this dude shown that he is the next coming. All I see is style over substance. I am make a list of players that can dunk. This kid can't shoot, plays suspect d, and is all physical. Don't you all remember Josh Smith or Harold Miner. Not saying that his kid will be a bust but i just don't see the skill to go along with the athletic ability. Look at Doncic very unathletic but is very good because he is a skilled player who knows how to play basket ball. Zion is a product of the youtube generation. People are comparing him to Lebron James when he has NEVER SHOWN HE HAS ACTUALLY TALENT OTHER THAN DUNKING.  I want an NBA championship not another DUNK champion trophy. You don't hang those from the rafters. Some of you guys....................

I've only seen a few games of him but his ball handling and playmaking are definitely above average for a player his size. He is a slasher and  willing passer.

As a matter of fact, I would rather have someone that is physical in the post and can slash and create for himself. Everyone in the nba is a 3 point specialist now.

He definitely brings a different skillset. Add 20 pounds on LeBron and a wider frame and he is definitely just as athletic as LBJ, if not more. He is definitely establishing a more physical presence than LBJ.

BPA this early in a rebuild.

Absolutely. If you’re picking top 3 you take whoever’s left of Barrett, Zion, or Reddish. If you’re picking #1, you take whoever showed out most this season and has the highest ceiling. If that fits a need, even better.

I don’t see it. I’m not say he’ll average a point a minute but he’s way too athletic with absurd body control and he’s much better handler and passer than I thought.

We’ll see though. Maui should be a good test.

^^^THIS

Not into college ball at all anymore for the past at least 15 years. But I figured I'd watch him to see what the hoopla was about. I remeber hearing about Jabari Parker and now Shaq and LBJ sons.

But yeah...he's legit. 6'7 285 with the quickness and ball handling and passing...he is going to get even better.

The other night, in a postgame interview, he stated that he wants to show everyone that he is not just a dunker and athlete but a scorer and playmaker as well. And he is decent with his handles and passing. He specifically stated that Coach K told him that he is going to have a jumper.

So yeah, he's not just relying on his sheer athleticism, he WANTS to become even more skilled on top of the attributes that you can't coach. His 'so-called' flaws are definitely coachable and he appears to be as well.
