I keep seeing articles about Harden debuting this remarkable "new" shot where he takes a one-legged 3pter and wonder why the writers think this is something so novel.

I loved Pero. Such a good head for the game.

I was at that game. He was playing like pure garbage before he made that shot.

He's easily my least favorite Hawk player of all time.

I could name a few Hawks rather quickly before getting to Pero....Bobby Sura heads my list.

Pero was the most beautiful bad shooter I've ever seen. His shot looked beautiful but it was always inaccurate.

People hate Sura because he played too well when the Hawks wanted to tank.  He averaged 15 ppg - 8 rebs - 5 asst in those games as a Hawk.

But people loved Rasheed Wallace and his 1 game appearance.

Dirk was definitely a one-legged virtuoso but his signature move was fading away from the basket with the elevated knee between him and the defender so I put him in a separate category from people who shoot it moving parallel to the basket.

Its not about who was the worse player for me but rather the worst players that the coach thought was good or even useful and played these guys over better players.
