Sources expect Celtics, Jaylen Brown to agree on super-max deal

But the Celtics are not shopping their All-NBA forward. They do not intend to make a low-ball offer to him. There have just been other matters for Jaylen Brown’s camp and the Celtics to handle first. Sure, there will be some negotiations regarding incentives, but league sources continue to insist that Brown and the Celtics will eventually agree on a super-max deal. Sources said the sides are expected to talk during the Las Vegas summer league, which begins Friday.

Bottom line, the only way JB becomes a Hawk is if he really wants to be here and requests a trade. Boston is not looking to move him.

Meh, reports like this are meaningless.  If Brown was untouchable, that contract would be signed.  It's not a coincidence that it will only be signed after a Dame trade is completed.  Regardless of how you feel about talent, Dame fits into that roster flawlessly with the core they have -- better fit than Brown imo.

Seems like Brown coming to Atlanta is a long shot. We would need a number of things to go our way.

I agree with you, but all the stalling is absolutely indicative that he on the table for the right price.  This isn't one of those sign on the dotted line as soon as the clock strikes 12:01 situations.

Brown is available. The biggest question is if he wants to give up a supermax to be a Hawk. That's a LOT of money to leave on the table.
