kg01
Ok, ok, finally sat down with my sources... The voices in your head? No, they're not in my head. They're in my mind, totally different. And shut up, Kial. Anyway, sounds like the TPE target of Mik Bridges may not be realistic. Who knew? Instead, I'm gonna look out west. Here's a hint .... rhymes with Lebron. Boom. And there's still a framework to ship @NBASupes to the Hawks reddit forum. Talks broke down when they insisted on including ....kg?
kg01
BKN is floundering, folx. We gotta be able to pick that carcass. They're ahead of us, which says a lot, but they're falling fast. 1

Spud2nique
Bring on Marcus Smart Murp III Herb Jones, Alvarado ( those were cagey boys herb n Alv).. They all play hard and play tough d. Situational impact guys. As opposed to Hunter who is the opposite of situational scoring.

I'm not anti-smHunter but things don't seem to be working out and those would be clear upgrades. That said, since the NOP rumors first popped up, they've been on a tear. I can't see them dealing now. Sad. Even sadder is we chose that other point guard when we coulda PICKED JOSE BALLER-ADO IN THE FIRST PLACE!! Wheres that other guy anyways? Who cares? He cain't hold Jose's gym socks and never could!! 1

kg01
Ooh, ooh, ooh, I got anotha one, DJ Khaled. How 'bout we do the Nix deal and get Fournier/Grimes, route Fournier to TOR and get Bruce Brown too. Type of player we need. Tpe for some big. Or trade capela/Hunter for one. OKC needs Capela. Who they got that we need?

I figured he'd be a situational guy due to his size. But I figured that wouldn't happen until some time overseas. So I'm surprised at the timing but not the result. kg01
I like to look at other boards to see how dysfunctional-usional they are compared to us. Saw a Pelican'ts fan suggested an Okongwu for Nance+1st deal that the Can'ts fans rejected as too rich for their blood. Eek.
kg01
New(old) target .. Brogdon. Send Murray to POR, get Brog and Ro Williams. Send Hunter to get a C from .... somewhere.
kg01
Undecided if I wanna call the Bey-4-Grimes swap yet. The Villanova thang makes it tempting. Also mulling over a Capela-to-HOU deal.
Premium Member Popular Post JayBirdHawk Posted February 7 Premium Member Popular Post Report Share Posted February 7 TPE Targets and/or Patty Mills/2nds trades: Jalen Smith, C, Pacers ($5 million, 2 years): The Pacers are trying to win but they also have a logjam in the frontcourt after the Pascal Siakam trade. Smith is having a great shooting season though so would likely cost several second-round picks. Nick Richards, C, Hornets ($5 million, 3 years): He has benefitted from an injury to Mark Williams to getting starter minutes for the past few weeks. On a reasonable contract so would be a good rim protection insurance policy if injuries hit for a couple of second-round picks. Mike Muscala, C/PF, Pistons: ($3.5 million, expiring): The big man is a likely trade candidate for the rebuilding Pistons and obviously would have the edge over other candidates from a familiarity perspective. Day’Ron Sharpe, C, Nets ($2.2 million, two years): Some terrific advanced stats this year for the Brooklyn backup and the added benefit of a cost controlled second season would probably push up the price. Xavier Tillman, PF, Grizzlies ($1.9 million, expiring): There will be several bidders for this cheap contract but the Grizzlies certainly will be listening if they aren’t planning on re-signing him this summer. Several second round picks would be the likely cost. Simone Fontecchio, Jazz ($3 million, expiring): Has improved across the board the season including some solid high volume shooting from 3. A bit of a defensive liability but a potential spark plug alternative. Jordan Nwora, Raptors ($3 million, expiring): Under the radar option who is playing quite well in Toronto since the Siakam deal. The Raptors are open for business though so multiple second round picks would do the trick here unless Toronto is especially high on him. Lonnie Walker, Nets ($2 million, expiring): He showed last season with the Lakers that he can make an impact in a playoff series when called upon and he’s in the midst of a career season in Brooklyn. May not be content with a smaller role but one of the more proven names on this list. 3
