What are your expectations/goals for Trae Young for the 2023 - 24 season?

For me:

1. Play the long game and stay healthy (not 100% but preparation of the body and sustainment in an 82 game season). He’s always done this in the past. Trae is a gamer. Keep it going.

 

2. Being a leader: If and when things dip south, I want him to be the one that gets the team back together and headed in the right path. I don’t want him to disassociate he’s our LEADER.

3. All star ️ 

4. Averaging a double double 10+ assist is the goal. (25+ ppg 10+ apg) (last year 10.2 career best) (8.1, 9.3, 9.4, 9.7, 10.2 ; each year of service in the league his assists average has climbed; another would be great). If he can average 11 dimes a night, that would be perfect.

5. Deep run in the playoffs! We went to the eastern conference finals in 2021. The goal is to get to the 2024 NBA finals for Trae, that’s the ultimate goal every year but Trae is a guy that has enough heart and skill to get us there.

I expect his PPG to drop again.  I expected his efficiency to go up. I expect his APG to go to as high as 12a/g
