The Bucks' Doc Rivers era is off to an 0-2 start after a 119-116 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. The next game for Milwaukee will be against the Dallas Mavericks on the road.  @kg01

Milwaukee is who we want in the playoffs.  Their defense is terruble.

9-15 does not win you championships, as I outlined in the other thread.  Strong 1-8 rotations do.  Focusing on 9-15 as a band-aid for a flawed 1-8 is missing the forest for the trees.

And as I point out over and over this is like arguing that you can't walk and chew gum at the same time.  You can do both.  When done properly, they don't conflict.  

We have put together a mediocre roster 1-8.  We all recognize that changes are needed if we want to reach our goals.   This is absolutely most important part of setting our direction for the next 5 years.

We have put together the worst roster in the league 9-15.  This is just shamefully poor work.  Mediocrity would be a huge step up.  This is why we got devastated when injuries hit.  A disservice was done to the 2023-24 team and fan base with this.

Sucks for Philly fans honestly.  With the statement Philly put out about public pressure getting to Joel, it sounds like he was putting his own health at risk for individual award qualification, potentially (if I may read between the lines) in the face of recommendations from the medical staff to sit more games.

I could see it honestly, from both the Lakers and James.  If Lebron isn't interested in extending with LA, he has a player option he can decline at the end of this season and sign anywhere he wants.  He might want to go to a contender to try to get another ring since it appears hopeless with LA right now.  It would also make sense for LA to try to get assets for him before he can walk for nothing this offseason.

EDIT: To add to this, this is the same reporter that said Kawhi to the Clippers 3-4 days before it happened, and predicted Lebrons return to Cleveland, and predicted Lebron to LA.  He might actually have a close source.

Or Embiid’s spot.  He needs to take a spot if offered.  Turning them down in the past affects the odds of getting offered going forward negatively.

Sucks but his body hasn't ever been conducive to having a long career.  Sad but IIWII.

Part of that is he's always on the floor flopping for foul calls. For such a big guy, a feather can knock him over far too easily.
