I stopped reading after you offered Tony Allen $8mm. Fans thought JJ was overpaid. Tony Allen is a below $5mm player. He excels on defense. However on offense its like running a 4 on 5 system. He misses close shots and is useless around the perimeter.

The only players in your plan I like are Hickson and Allen. Jenkins is not going anywhere until we make a big deal. If we wanted to go the cheap route, resign Korver as well, this may work. But only because it saves us cap space for future deals. I do not like your draft picks though.

I do not see Allen getting 8 million at all. Lets say 7 for Hickson, 5 for Allen to beat out a MLE, and same 5 for Korver. Thats 17 million, add in Teague at 7 and that is 24 million. That will leave us about 8 to 10 million under the cap to take on a player in a blockbuster.

I like Hickson on the cheap because he can play center and Allen for his D. But the above team will be depend heavily on those draft picks if they want to get into the playoffs.
