Let's be honest: This series we've been better with Teague on the bench for the most part. DS has been great for us late in games. We need Teague to be consistent going forward.

Nah, we need to continue to limit his minutes going forward. He's useless defensively and his heart and focus is always in question. Dennis deserves a start.

Dennis shutting down Beal was key to us winning. I see what Bud was trying to do with this lineup.

Hawks very lucky to get the win. Glad Hawks up 3-2 but alot of issues with the team to play better.

Of course. I didn't even recognize this team for most of the game. But sometimes all you need is a player to will the team to victory, and tonight Al did that, and that is HUGE for them going forward.

Gray Mule, I'm assuming you're a man of many years of wisdom. I'm 39 and I don't see how you can watch games like tonight and not have a heart attack. My heart was pounding out of my chest. Told my wife to hide the remote when I'm 50 so sports don't kill me.

No disrespect when i say this but stop. Dennis was just as bad as Jeff for 3.5 quarters. I'm glad he played well down the stretch but lets not act like he was on fire the whole game. 

 

How quickly we forget how clutch Jeff was in game 4. He will bounce back next game.

 

At the end of the day, we need both of our point guards to play better for a full game. Not for half a quarter. Not for 2 but the whole game

So, everyone's going to sit here and act like Dennis in the 2nd quarter didn't put us in a hole? I refuse to sit here and allow you guys to point the finger solely on Jeff. Yes, he made turnovers tonight but most of them were due to teammates in the wrong spots and not being active on offense. Bud has some idiotic ways with his lineups and I have a big issue with how he treats Dennis. He allows the kid to come in and play "Me" ball before setting up his teammates. And you wonder why our shooters get out of rhythm. Pero should be benched and Scott should get more minutes. I've yet to understand his love affair with a soft big that can't finish under the basket. Him getting blocked by a guard was completely embarrassing for his size. Coach needs to stop showing favoritism, we have two players on the bench with playoff experience.

And I would like a formal apology in "likes" for my Moose call. He shut down Gortat and pushed Nene away from the basket. And he made one hell of an impact on offense! Give that kid more minutes!

Best win I can ever remember as a Hawks fan. I hope Pierce never ever forgets he didn't grab the rebound that Al got for the win!
