Not a momentum killer knows when to drive & when to take the shot. Great finisher & very athletic.Has a high motor & uses it to go hard on defense & offense. Doesn't waste his energy on complaining to the refs. The only positive Smoove has on Bazemore is his height. Stop sleeping on Bazemore because if Josh played like this consistently he would not only be an all star but a superstar. Not saying Kent will be but he has at least all star potential.

Makes sense that Josh Smith would be 1.0 since he has half the heart and effort of Kent Bazemore.

why this write up? The squawk hate bazemore now?

I can't see why when he did nothing but step up to the plate every time he was called on by bud this past season. Hell in my opinion baze has a great chance to be our next DMC but at the 2 while korver slides over.

Honestly I already know he can do it, he just need to get the opportunity to prove it just like DMC needed the opportunity. So yes I'm calling bazemore a sure starter next season

A first full training camp plus one year in the system - we should see, I hope a marked improvement.

Baze just needs to do what Kyle told him: Slow down and be patient on offense but crazy on defense.

Josh Smith is actually very talented allround. He has a skillset including ball-handling and passing. He's the type of guy that would excell in most ball-sports. Kent Bazemore is an effort guy(track and field), who also put allot of effort into making it into an NBA career, and thats about it. He doesnt have the naturals Josh has and will never.

 

On the other end though very talented guys like Josh often are hard to coach because they believe to much in their own qualities. Josh career was an epitome to that and why Josh his value is all the way down.

 

The two are nothing a like other than shot blocking.

Kent Bazemore is nothing like Smith outside of being left handed... The biggest thing that makes him different is he is team-first and open to be coached. Smith had a big head and thought he was the best thing next to Lebron James. And I bet Bazemore's BBIQ is double of that of Smoove's too. Baze, like the rest of our young guys, just needs time.
