Atlanta ain't trading JC to Boston. The fact that O'Connor wrote this bullshit irks the shit out of me. Basically, he looked at Bogi stats, well Atlanta would probably get rid of Bogi, let's throw him in a shit deal and Boston will eat his money when Atlanta values the shit out of Bogi.

Id love to bring Lonzo in, but unless Ressler really does not care about the LT, it's hard to see us paying both JC and Zo, unless they plan on moving Gallo or Bogi.

On top of that, Atlanta was looking for All Star 2 but only at a reasonable price. Hell, there was talk recently about Oladipo and DeRozan but the cost was seen as much to great on both sides. 

Okongwu was drafted for his potential as a 5. He's not ready to play for a playoff team yet. He's not even rotational yet. Atlanta isn't doing shit based on Okongwu. 

Atlanta very recently pulled JC off the market. Also, his agent has been in on ALL of the talks. That's what so disrespectful about it. Atlanta isn't putting out lies, you don't gotta lie about shit to sell fake dreams to Boston fans.

On Cam, this disrespect is the most frustrating part. I get it, his stats haven't earned him the respect he has locally or within the organization but to put him in a rumor for a rental whos making it clear. He wants to be paid, wants to be a PG, and wants to be on a team that knows how to use him correctly, putting him in a rumor to Atlanta is disgusting and to say Tomas S and two 2nds from the Bulls and to add what's nationally seen as a top 50 young player in Reddish is as disgusting as I've seen in years.

No one is trading a top 60 young player for a rental. No one. To even say Cam's name makes me want to fade this Boston prick on sight. Piece of f***ing shit!

Id welcome a Lonzo trade, in general. He would be a huge upgrade over Rondo. Id obviously have to see the actual trade to render a verdict though..

There is a massive difference between a Kevin trade, much less a Cam trade. Zo would be welcomed for Rondo, Bruno and two 2nd rounders as he is a rental. Even if he wasn't a rental. His contract demands would limit him to the same trade value. Even then, I don't see Atlanta all that interested in a rental of Ball. Especially when he wants a team of his own. Something Atlanta can't provide.

 

I am just speaking for me but LaVar has made it very clear and Zo uses him as his mouthpiece since he's shy. He wants his own team like Melo has his own team. He wants to go to New York or Chicago. I would imagine the Clippers would appeal to him as well. 

 

Rondo is fine with his backup role. Would Zo be fine as a backup?

Yep, Lavar is trying to put them into positions where they can maximize their wealth.  Being the "superstar" on a middling franchise is more lucrative than a third option on a contender.

He's not trying to be a role player in general. I can see him only considering it with LAC as they badly need a PG and that's his role. But he's not going to be someone backup. That's a no no. The reason he wants out of NO is he wants to be a superstar and get max money like JC. I don't see how any Atlanta fan with any type of common sense would think adding Ball would be a good thing even if it's for Rondo and 2nd round picks. Rondo at least wants to be in this role.
