The only way that kind of talk would happen, is if Trae is struggling and the team is losing.

In a situation like that, you'll have some of our own fans saying the same thing.  They already don't like the way Trae plays as it is.  Lonzo plays like a traditional PG, and not like a superstar scorer ( which Trae tends to also play like ).

Lonzo does not draw fouls though, because he doesn't go to the basket.  That's the biggest difference between he and Trae.

Obviously he has flaws otherwise they wouldn't be trading him. But he would be a significant upgrade over Rondo. His three point and free throw shooting are much improved, and he's an above average defender and passer. His numbers aren't actually that far off from his phenom brother. Plus he works out with Trae in the off-season, so that shouldn't be an issue.

I haven't heard anything recent on Zo Ball to Atlanta due to contract demands. 

Add Cam Reddish name to the mix and I am calling bullshit. 

This sounds like something New Orleans would push more than Atlanta to boost interest in a player who clearly wants out. 

 

Note: This was a popular name when JC was closer to a lock to be traded. But now that JC is closer to being a lock to stay, you need to mark this as BS more than realistic.

I just read the article. Its bullshit! JC has been pulled off the market for the most part unless you meet their asking price and no one has even bothered. Atlanta isn't shopping Cam for Zo much less an expiring contract. So much bullshit from the ringer.
