To highlight the improvement these are Trae's splits since the All Star break:

29.5 ppg, 10.5 apg, 3.6tpg .638 Ts%

vs pre all star break

27.8 ppg 9.3 apg 4.1tpg .590 TS%

So yea, not an incredible difference but a very noticeable and impressive bump in efficiency and playmaking. 

PS. Just for the "Trae turns the ball over too much" crowd. 

Out of the top 10 players in assists, Trae Young ranks second in Turnover% better than Chris Paul, Luka, Lamelo, Garland etc... and, behind only Dejaunte Murray. 

The Hawks 11.9 turnovers per game would be the lowest turnovers they ever recorded in franchise history.

Those are MVP numbers right there.  I mean the pre all star is too. 

I just wished we could have gotten a few more wins earlier in the season.

So the play in in the east looks good.  4 teams all within a couple of games should fight it out.

In the west?   geez louise.   can you imagine being the Twolves and potentially missing the playoffs because  you drop 2 games to teams you trounced in the regular season by 10 games?   That would suck.   They should get a bye for being 5 games ahead of the clips.
