Sound like Trae's critics his freshmen and sophomore year talking about "winning". It's just silly, put current Murray on a better team, and the team wins more games. Idk what your point even is bringing up 2019-2020, players develop

You are new here. You are not going to change his mind.

He complains about defense and rebounding constantly. Hawks try to get a player that does that and he doesn't want them. Also, said player is good at the other thing he complains about,  turnovers, with only 2.6 while averaging 9 assists. Oh that other thing he complains about with the Hawks, generating turnovers? Murray leads the league in steals.

However, Perio doesn't want him because he supposedly has poor efficiency offensively, but Murray plays the exact way he wants Trae to play, not a lot of threes and gets his teammates involved.

The point is, it is not Murray that Perio doesn't want. It is the fact the Hawks would have to give up Collins. 

If the trade was Bogi, he would be driving the bus to go get Murray and drop Bogi off. 

He could simply say that without tearing down Murray and acting like he doesn't impact winning, but he will not.

So again,  don't think you need to tear Murray down. Just say you don't like the cost.

He would help the Hawks ina ton of areas that we are weak in.

Is JC a major subtraction when we play fine when he's injured and others fill his production?

The funny thing is that this guy did what he did 2 full season after most of THE core Hawks but if you look at his metrics at the same years, they were not very good. in comparison with Hawk players.  I JUST FIND THIS STRANGE.

One thing that’s funny about social media ….when these players are rumored in Proffessional sports to be traded or signed elsewhere every little thing they post is taken out of context .

but I will say this. Trae and Murray definitely aren’t doing a great job keeping their mouths shut regarding this rumor. It’s kind of obvious that even if the FOs on each side weren’t talking about the trade those two certainly have spoken to each other about teaming up lol.

Murray is overrated..

You know good and well peo just wants to run it back. No additions. That way he can whine all next year that the defense sucks and this team won't ever win a title.

The reason he doesn't want any if these all stars on the Hawks is cuz they would actually make the Hawks better and he'd have less to complain about.

Murray isn't a star otherwise you would have filled this thread with a multitude of advanced metrics to support such an assertion but you haven't.  That in and of itself tell you all you need to know about this player

- we can argue semantics but he isn’t just another player in the league. He is a “rising star” if anything. Just what our rising superstar needs next to him
