Mouthful here.  It's one thing to do it when folx got half an eye on Harden.  It's a whole other thing to do it when the team's focused on stoppin' you.

Some team's going to sign Derrick Favors soon, and it's going to be hailed at the end of the season as one of the real headscratchers why others didn't beat them to it.

 

Seeing on Twitter, a lot of Cs fans seem to think he's headed north.

Just today I was looking at the standings and thinking Suns won't be in  hurry to trade Jae since they're winning without him. Yikes

Slower to that conclusion. Feel like the Suns bear some responsibility to let the player lose the job, rather than hand the job to his understudy who hasn't actually surpassed him in real games yet... or, if you're just going to make that decision, make it a whole lot earlier in the off-season, talk to the player quietly, and if he demands a trade, pursue that. Feel like that sprung it on him, which is their right.... but then, can't really complain when he responds by springing on them his right to decline to play. (I'd assume they felt some due guilt in the situation, otherwise they probably have some legal CBA right to fine him.)
