My biggest regert is we sat Murray when we could've presumably won last night had he played.

Denial / Excuse-making: That the team isn't playing well

Anger: The realization that the team actually sucks

Eager Anticipation: The news that DJ will be traded for an upgrade on the day he's eligible (Jan 15)

Concern: Nothing's happening as the team falls further below .500 into February

Excitement: The prospect of acquiring young high-quality talent at the deadline

Fear: The ownership will make things worse via trade

Anger: Nothing actually happened at the deadline

Resigned Contentment:  At the knowledge that, hey, we didn't get worse  

Relief:   That nothing happened which means the ownership didn't screw the team 

 

And now we are back to.....

Hope: For the promise of a new roster over the summer

To be fair, Gafford is younger and makes less than Capela.  With Lively playing well as a rook, I think the ship had already sailed for Capela and the Mavs.  I think there were other teams that would've made sense for Capela though.
