Those are the rebound numbers of our starting C for the month of November.   Are we kidding?  Allstar C?  I understand that he's one of the sacred cows around here but we won't win with a Center who is averaging less than  7 rebounds a game.

I'm starting to think Bud is the blame for a lot of this.

A lot of blame to this really goes straight to the fact that the bigs have to help defensively on the perimeter or the defense would be even worse than it is now because you are starting a hobbled KK.

I don't care what defense we are running or how much help defense they are playing - 1 rebound for the starting Center is just not acceptable no matter how you slice it.

Horford doesn't put himself in the game.  So whom ever decides to start him, play the number of minutes he plays and way he plays obviously doesn't have a problem with those numbers

Horford's increase in 3pt attempts might be a clue as to why this is... Not that Karl Horford was ever noted as a good rebounder.

.5 -  Paul Millsap is #9 in the NBA and Al Horford is number #36 in the NBA.   Horford is tied or ahead of DeAndre Jordan, Noah, Dieng, Jefferson,  Valanc..., and Vucivic.

Overall win shares Sap is #8 and Horford is #14 in the NBA.  In fact, Horford is the #1 center in the NBA in Win Shares

I'm not an advanced stat guy so I'm not putting this forward as a big deal but just answering the question.

Advanced stats suck then because the lack of Horford boards is compounded with centers killing us on the offensive glass and putting up big numbers..
