wolvetigers
According to the Windhorst vid - the Hawks are fielding offers for SAP, (Kings, Suns, Nuggets,), not sure what value we will be getting back but it looks like our new GM is going for the complete rebuild. But unfortunately, we don't have high draft picks to draft a star player this year.

Premium Member sturt Posted June 21, 2017 Premium Member Report Share Posted June 21, 2017 Sounds fishy.... why would any team be interested in a sign-and-trade at this stage? What am I missing?

What am I missing? Well, for starters - it keeps them out of over bidding situations....If you're the Kings you need some leadership and support to help your team grow. Why not pay SAP to anchor the young team.

I like Millsap, but now that we are rebuilding we have to sign & trade him to get something in return.

I would seriously lose my mind if we give Millsap anywhere near that amount.

bleachkit
If Dennis and Prince are leading the troops next year we will be a 25 to 30 win team. Props to Boston, all these draft picks yet still winning. They tanked the right way.

Guest
Those teams mentioned have capspace to sign Millsap....mmmm. Millsap would have to have given the Hawks some indication he was interested in playing for those teams....mmmm.

Or in the words of General Patton Quote No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making some other poor dumb bastard die for his country. This is chess not checkers. He masquerades as an all-league insider but he ain't really that.
JTB
Can we get Gary Harris from Denver? We do that and I will call the off season a success as well as drafting a good fitting big. thats all i want and I'm happy

First we have the GM who hates whites, then the one who hates blacks and now we've got one who apparently loves mixing prescription meds with hallucinogenic substances?
