Bottomline for me was that I felt Monroe was the most proven, still in his mid-20s, and would be very productive in limited minutes for the foreseeable future. Anderson offered the best "role" aspect of a player being able to come in and stretch the floor but offers nothing other than his 3pt shot. Zeller was by far the least productive of the guys close to the rim so I felt I couldn't pass on Monroe or Jonas for him. Jonas I felt was harder to integrate into a team in today's NBA than Monroe but he was my second choice if I wanted another rebounder/scorer coming off the bench. 3 hours ago, Buzzard said: he will be a primary backup to another un-drafted player in Tyson Chandler. Not sure if I'm misreading this but Chandler was the #2 overall pick for the Bulls.
Moderators AHF Posted August 17, 2017 Author Moderators Report Share Posted August 17, 2017 I was definitely expecting Rodney Hood, De'Aaron Fox and Jonas to get drafted.

Anderson was also a thought for me with his range coming off the bench. I like the Monroe pick better. But if someone needs a stretch four for a few seasons Anderson fits the bill. I purposely avoided Monroe. I think he jinxed my whole draft last season taking him so early Edited August 17, 2017 by Buzzard
LucastheThird
I really wanted to take Fox with my last pick, but I decided on Hield. Felt I needed another shooting guard instead of a third PG that probably won't play much with Wall being the starter.
