Jonas Valanciunas not getting drafted is probably the biggest surprise to me

I was looking at Jonas, Greg Monroe, Cody Zeller and Ryan Anderson with my last pick.  Bottomline for me was that I felt Monroe was the most proven, still in his mid-20s, and would be very productive in limited minutes for the foreseeable future.  Anderson offered the best "role" aspect of a player being able to come in and stretch the floor but offers nothing other than his 3pt shot.  Zeller was by far the least productive of the guys close to the rim so I felt I couldn't pass on Monroe or Jonas for him.  Jonas I felt was harder to integrate into a team in today's NBA than Monroe but he was my second choice if I wanted another rebounder/scorer coming off the bench.

he will be a primary backup to another un-drafted player in Tyson Chandler.

Not sure if I'm misreading this but Chandler was the #2 overall pick for the Bulls.

Un-drafted here in the Dynasty Draft this season. Anderson was also a thought for me with his range coming off the bench. I like the Monroe pick better. But if someone needs a stretch four for a few seasons Anderson fits the bill.

I purposely avoided Monroe. I think he jinxed my whole draft last season taking him so early

I really wanted to take Fox with my last pick, but I decided on Hield. Felt I needed another shooting guard instead of a third PG that probably won't play much with Wall being the starter.

I thought he had been taken ,or else I might have looked at him before i took Dennis Smith Jr

I'll get started compiling the FiveThirtyEight CARMELO data ("For Entertainment Purposes Only") into our "SUM-MELO" measures tomorrow.

For those who need to know what that is and how we used it last season, start here:

Who cares about the money? LeBron is worth billions to my team and the championship he brings will be worth just as much! Me and Vince are gonna rule this league! Money makes the world go 'round!

I had no idea my payroll was so high. I thought it would be in the average range since my first pick is still on his rookie deal, Oh well. you can be the Yankees, I will be the 1993 Braves.
