Memphis can move up in the lottery right?

St Ides special brew kiwi 🥝 strawberry 🍓 drinkin Terrell stay wit us, the Grizz won’t have a pick unless they crack the top 4 which is a 2.4% probability, aka long shot.

Pels had a 6% chance of landing #1 last year. Just sayin. lol. NBA might feel bad for Memphis(who shouldve been in the PLayoffs)lol

They’re gonna feel bad for the Grizz who got a higher pick that us last year AND played in the bubble over us? 🤔

I have a feeling if Hawks had been granted entrance into the bubble, we could have gone on a Suns type run. We were playing better before the shutdown, and ready to finally gel with a healthy team. At the very least we could have scored a lot of points, but not so great on defense, kinda like Portland.

We all thought the Hawks could on some sort of a winning trend after we beat BRK, DAL, POR, & MIA coming out of the All-Star break, and was 4 - 2 after 6 games.

But instead of possibly going 8 - 2, we only end up going 4 - 6 after the break.  These were the teams we lost to:

- Memphis ( 2 times .... In games where the Hawks looked bad on offense )

- Philly

- Orlando

- Washington

- New York

Win 4 of those 6 games ( preferably vs ORL, NY, WAS & 1 against MEM ) ... it's the Hawks that possibly are 9th in the East and gets the bubble invite over a Wizards team going without their All-Star player.

Win or lose, it would've been very good for those guys to be in the Bubble.

MPJr is going to be a problem........Btw,Jerami Grant is overrated on Hawks boards imo. Hes alright, but I wouldn't pay him big $....Id rather take my chances on Okungwu or Toppin  as backup PF...

Quote

The NBA is progressing on plans for a virtual draft combine to be held at regional sites throughout September, sources told ESPN.

Formal plans could be completed and shared with teams in the next week, sources said.

In what's likely to become one of the most wide-open draft processes in years, prospective players would attend selected regional team facilities throughout the country, sources said. The plan would include team doctors administering physicals at local hospitals and league officials recording body measurables and putting players through physical testing at team facilities, sources said.

The NBA still hasn't made a final determination on the location or format for the Oct. 16 draft event, sources said.
