They didn't play well.

Especially JC..He was extremely unimpressive. His finger still looks horrible. He still can’t create for himself AT ALL .  How you gonna be the 1st player ever to foul out in the Drew League? smh  He looked even skinnier to me too...He Might need to start juicing again.. lol

Hawks shouldve sat this one out.. lol

Pics or it didn't happen, bro.

You want me to show you an action shot of when he did it too? Lol. I hated him internally for a while. I won’t go into detail but if I’m the guard and he’s the forward or center and I feed him 2 feet under the rim, why in earth would he pass it back to me.

We had to 2 memorable runs in the hoop it up tourney, one San jo and one Oaktown. San jo was god awful that’s that incident, Oakland we went 2-0, or 3-0 the first day beating a team of 4 hook Mitchell dudes. It was shocking. Next day we missed the entire day because we drank and slept in. 😢 The unknown. Never got that hoop it up trophy 🏆 😢 I have basketball 🏀 trophies from leagues but I needed that hoop it up title. 😞.

@AHF seriously I’m gonna put a bag over my head and film 🎥 this 🏀 shooting session. I’m a freak show today, I stopped a family! Call me Spudjakovic. :cheer:

I know y’all had those days when you can’t leave the courts, your shooting touch it’s so feathery light your not even shooting it but rather escorting it gently into the basketball without hurting it as through hitting its body (the ball) on the rim.

I treat my 🏀 bettn dan my girl 👧 😂

@kg01 When I end up in a nice facility, you’ll visit me right?  Wont be long..

I thought Collins playing in the Drew league was an indication he was 100%. Why in the heck is he even playing ball right now? This isn't a rant, but you'd think getting 100% healthy over the Summer would be the #1 priority right now.

Trying to put the "I dont want out of Atlanta", or "me and Trae dont get along" talk to rest.. lol

That is what he needs to get fixed.  If he can’t shoot from the perimeter effectively because of his finger, that is a huge impact on his game.

He got yammed on by a nobody. Stay getting bullied. Yesterday was no different.. smh

He looks really skinny out there..

I really don’t care how good or bad he looks at these exhibition games.  Really more interested in seeing him healthy for the regular season.   These types of games are just for fun and getting a few touches.  Like summer league action.  How he looks when the season starts is >>>>>>> important than summer games.

I agree. It was a letdown though. lol

Would like to think that, though it's not healed completely, it's continuing to make noticeable improvement from week to week such that, by training camp, it won't be an issue. Presumably, if it had been a concern with potentially permanent consequences, our FO and medical staff weren't so unwise as to have him come back and play when he did in the first place. I mean, surely, they weren't that flippant about their $25m/yr asset that they threw caution to the wind.

To me the worst thing NBA players can do in these games is go all out against guys with nothing to lose.

They're the ultimate lose-lose situations.  In honesty, I wish they wouldn't even play in them.

It is good PR for the league though. It makes the players more "relatable" to the fans. It all started with NBA players going to Rucker Park decades ago and has expanded from there.

Players play in runs at the local gyms all time; like that video of Murray playing at Lifetime Fitness a few weeks ago. It's going to happen regardless. So doing it in front of the cameras with refs isn't a bad way to do it.

This is kind of my view as well.  Players are going to want to play so this is fine.  Doesn't mean much of anything other than our guys getting a few touches.  Only stands out as something because of the dead months of summer.
