It does though.  He has so much grace playing off guys because of his length and relative athleticism that ball handlers rarely get by him.  Also, being THAT long literally does give him wiggle room getting out of position, even underneath the basket lol... his defense is not a fluke and will absolutely translate to the NBA, almost immediately.

This is the best summer league team we've had. A lot of these guys are our backups and 3rd string. 

 

Our summer league rosters during the coach bud era was mainly tryout type guys
