Bufkin is trash atm.... Didnt like the pick. I thought their were better players on the board.. And Im iffy on left handed players as a said after the draft.... lol..  Hopefully he proves me wrong..

I haven't seen anything but highlights since the first game.  What is the story with Vit?  His numbers are never much of anything but I see nice comments on him.  Is he just playing a "role" sort of game where he makes smart decisions and lets the game come to him but doesn't really assert himself?

Story of his summer league.  Hopefully he'll leave with a book full of notes and get back to grinding.  That is how he progressed from bench warmer to stud from one season to the next in college.

He has a terrific feel for the game but not exactly a great passer but has vision and a nice handle with good slashing ability

We have Trae and DJ for the foreseeable future. Bufkin will be a fill in combo guard that mainly plays off the ball.

I don't remember a first round pick of ours looking this bad in summer league.

I guess thats not saying much considering Dre Cam OO and AJ didnt play.. lol

Gueye and Lundy have been surprises though..

I know it's summer league. I know he's young. But he does not look like an NBA player so far.

Quick backstory. In 96 I was going back and forth with my dad watching this 18yr old. He was shooting air balls, ball hogging, missing shots left and right but he had a certain aggressiveness, confidence and basic skillset to him that I saw and made me argue with my dad that he's going to be great. The future later showed what I saw. His name was Kobe Bryant.

I saw another kid in 2018 same age same type of horrible showing. His name was Trae Young.

Point is greatness takes time. Patience
