Nah... Morant is only great at one dimension of the game.  Scoring while going downhill. He's top 5 in that.  He is a lot like Derrick Rose when Derrick Rose first hit the league.   A great scorer downhill, can hit an open jumper... but limited in some of the other things that a PG should be able to do..  Defense,  Run the offense.  So no, he's not the best player in the league.  Maybe not even top 5.   But he's one of the league top scorers.

Like a lot of games, offense looked good but couldn’t get enough stops to create some real momentum. Matthews did not show up and Lundy let me down. Tough one to watch in person towards the end.
