Tricky wording.

Hawks do not have a buyer at the moment. The Hawks do have an agreement that all of the ownership groups for the A$G will sell 100% of the team.

Or in other words, we will still have to wait some more.

I don't think it's tricky at all, the best case scenario that most have hoped for is being confirmed. Not a minority or majority stake being up but instead the whole pie. We can officially say that the A$G are at the door collecting their jackets and umbrellas, they may have not left yet but at least none are staying for another spot of tea either.

This, so  much this.  Didn't they all agree to sell to the pizza guy?  I gotta wait til the ink's dry before I go running naked into the streets about this.

 

Lastly, IIUC most teams are owned by groups so we shouldn't be afraid of that.  We just got the luck(sic) of the draw with the group we ended up with.

 

ETA: The 'goodbye' thread once the A$G finally is gone will .... be .... epic.
