Weird to bring in an injured vet and then cut him unless he was further away than originally believed. Maybe they didn't expect to have such a difficult decision in the front court. Whatever the reason, I didn't think it would be Jack. I hope if he gets healthy we're able to bring him back if needed.

Have to say... I did a double-take when I realized that we didn't *also* cut the other two PGs on the roster at the same time we cut JJ.

Difference is one is 24 while one is 33 with a bum ACL injury.  One can be available the other is not.  He is not even playing 5 on 5 as yet in practice.

1. Jack's tweets and what he has said to the media the last few days don't make me think that he'll be interested in coming back to the hawks later

2. THjr and Bembry aren't really PGs.  Are we going into the season with Dennis and a guy who's never played in the nba as our only PGs?

We need to trade for/sign a PG.  I don't want to see Delaney as our backup.  Recipe for par-boiled disaster.  Go get Mack from UT and do it before some other team needs a 1 and drives up his price.  Not ideal but at least you know what you'll get from him.

Lastly, what's Jack been saying on tha twitter (yes, "tha" twitter)?

Unfortunately, Splitter is injured (as always), so we can't trade him for anything of value.  Maybe at the trade deadline we can dump him.
