Context is everything. This statement by Melo was in response to assuming Ferry was a racist and the impact that would have on FA signing with the Hawks. Nothing whatsoever to do with the status of the Hawks as a contending or rebuilding team. That entire administration and ownership has changed now. Turn the page.

I don't think he's done if he's willing to accept a 'gunner off the becnh role.' Take ownership and control of the 2nd unit.

? that’s up for debate imo. The guy possesses no knowledge of team ?! He doesn’t pass well, rebound particularly well, play any D at all. What does he bring. “Leadership” and a 15-20 footer that’s no longer automatic?

The most overrated high profile athlete along with Arod to ever walk this planet. He’s in it for the money. Melo never loved the game imo, if he did he would have changed his personal game cuz it doesn’t impacting winning and hasn’t in his entire career.
