I wonder if Skylar will consider Europe next year. Seems like someone who'd enjoy the experience.

I watched some of the game last night and I have to say I was wrong about Skyler.  I thought he would never be an NBA player and that he shouldn't be a PG but both are wrong.  There's all this screaming for Cooper but really Skyler could be our backup PG now.   Only reason to play Wright instead is that he's a better defender with more size.  But Skyler is good.  

And if anyone is watching the Skyhawks you have to admit that Jalen just isn't ready.   He has fantastic skills but he'll get smoked on both ends in the NBA.   He's sloppy with the ball and moves indecisively on both ends.  He'll get there but he isn't there yet.

The game was on TV last night.   Here's what I saw.

Sharife didn't have a great game but he's pretty steady.  I don't see any reason he couldn't hold his own at the NBA level.    Biggest issue is he's very small.

Cat Barber is actually the better PG at CP right now.   He could probably easily be a backup somewhere especially shooting close to 50% from 3.   He runs the offensive well and can beat guys off the dribble.  Of course Skyler wasn't in this game.   Mays, Barber, Sharife is really too many good PGs.  

Jalen had a pretty efficient game.   The good part is that Jalen is an exceptional passer and his court vision on offense is great.   He's also by far the most gifted athlete on the floor.  He can do some great stuff.  The bad part, and i know no one wants to hear it, but he's a bad defender, bad screener and either doesn't know how to get good position for rebounds or doesn't make the effort.   He gets rebounds usually by jumping over guys from behind which works in the Gleague.    All these things are fixable given his overall talent and ability but he really needs to get in another gear.

Justin Tillman is kicking butt out there.  He has a good post up game and just hunts rebounds like crazy.   He should get a chance in the nba as an energy big off the bench.

Consistently money from 5-10 feet... and he'll get you some effort rebounds.

I think Tillman has had 3 or 4, 30+ point games in a row.
