Schlenk on the radio said we cannot, but I don't know the details around why not.

If we can't get an exception, why isn't Solo already cut?  Needs to be one or the other.

Yeah.  I think there are 2 possibilities here and both may be true.   Solo's injury might not have a full season timeline for sure.   and/or Hawks don't want to lose his locker room presence.   It's a tough one.

I think he means we need a roster spot to sign a player.

Jalen Johnson is doing some things in college park tonight.

First half 24 points with about 1:20 left. Edit: 80% from field and 3 point.  3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 blocks.

By far his best game so far. Looking really smooth on offense, and he's picking his spots defensively to make an impact as evidenced by his 3 blocks.

This is great stuff.   I'm really excited about Jalen and Cooper.   I totally get how people are really wanting to see them with the Hawks but some folks out there are going a little overboard.

I still remember when it was frustrating watching rookies just sit on the bench every game.   I know fans want to see these guys play but they are playing with the Skyhawks and coaches can see in real games what they can do and what they need to work on.    The stats are great signs but i've seen Carsen Edwards dominate g-league games so it's more about how they are playing than whether they are getting their points.  

They should be putting up big numbers in G league.  Both guys are high level talents playing against a lot of undrafted and journeymen.  

Anyway.  That's my speech.   Can't wait to see these guys crack the rotation very soon.

The GLeague is resuming play January 5th, with so many guys signing 10 Days, I do wonder what some of these teams will look like.
