The series Atlanta vs NY had some extremely high TV ratings.  Expect to see more national TV games with NY and Philly.  This is killer news!

We choose the right media Giant to punch in the Mouth.  Had we beat Milwaukee in the first round instead of NY, we would not be on TV on Christmas day.

I hope it is respect, but I suspect it is merely an attempt to boost ratings since the "villain" storyline with Trae will be compelling to many national viewers.

I'll take it and I predicted it.  It's not really about the Hawks, but it's the most compelling story line to get the biggest TV market back on Christmas day.    Good job Hawks.

I'm assuming that Lakers vs Nets will be the Primetime game.   Maybe it's Hawks vs Knicks in the early evening.

I hope we're not the first game of the day.

Considering it's New York, it'll probably be a midday game. I'm not sure how the Christmas schedule works though.

The problem is that the NBA didn't advertise like they do back then the way the do now.   Now, it's all about one guy.  Lebron.  Then... you had Magic, Michael, Isaiah, Nique, Patrick, Bird, Dr J,  Hakeem, Mailman, Kemp, and even some of them dudes in Cleveland.  The only team that didn't get enough play was Denver... Scoring 165 points a game.
