I guess it'll take a player dying before you say there's risk for them?  Do you have the data for long term covid symptoms on NBA players?

Again, it's not all about death and for someone to say it's no joke.  It's not a joke, if you loose your sense of taste and smell for months at a time, have to use an inhaler, having panic attacks, and have organ damage that may not be readily determinable right after covid.

There are other risks to consider.

Yuppp lol

Hunter has played a grand total of 21 basketball games (16 regular season, 5 playoff) dating back to the end of January 2021. 

Kid is going to have some rust. Heck, you could argue he was still rusty in the 11 games he played this season before getting injured. He certainly wasn't back to the form he was last season.

I think his guarantee date is tomorrow the 10th, so if he is not waived today, his contract becomes guaranteed - at least that is how I understand it.

I think Travis is trying to cultivate a rep of being good to players.   TLC couldn't have done much more to earn his spot.
