You are sounding like you don't understand the CBA.  You said that you would pay Ayton $40 mil.  Trae is slated to make $36 mil per if he doesn't make all NBA and $41 mil if he does.  so you would pay a guy that hasn't made an all star team roughly the same as an all NBA player?
