I’ve been a big fan of trading for Siakam for a couple years.  Apart from salary, curious why people don’t like his game.

It's hard to not like 20/8/5 right?   I think he'd be a great fit for us.  I guess his shooting is the biggest inconsistency?

I like Siakam, but the price to acquire, price to resign, and mileage accrued all give me pause.

Him and OO are both 6'8" so not much size in that frontcourt.

He's also a career 32% 3 point shooter and an expiring contract.

My resistance has been about cost to acquire, his impending UFAcy and how much his new contract will be.

Would we rather have Siakam or Murray next year is the question for me.  Because they could both be gone or expensive after that.  Siakam is the better fit and better player right?

so if both could be gone I would prefer not not give up assests as well

I think the answer to the question strongly depends on what we do with Hunter, Collins, and/or Capela.  (All else being equal)

Love Bogi, but there are injury concerns there.

Patch one hole and create another.

I'm literally only doing the Siakam deal if OG is included. And that ain't happening.
