yeah there are absolutely certain players that are a problem for the Hawks.

Kinda think, if we choke off the open 3s these guys get, that'll go a long way for us.  Those players, in particular, cannot fend for themselves so they thrive on open shots created by attention Tatum and Brown get.

Buuut, guys like Brogdon and White.... not sure how we deal with them.  They gonna attack Trae and are talented enough to do so effectively.

During my infuriating ride yesterday listening to NBA pods, I also listened to the Celtics pod guy.  It was just a general preview of the Celtics in the playoffs.  He said that they would most likely go with an 8 man rotation like this:

Starters:  White/Smart/Tatum/Brown/Whoreford

Bench:  Brogdon/G. Williams/ R. Williams

Said he doesn't think Moose, Hauser, or Pritchard will play unless it's a very unusual circumstance.  With as much success as these randos have had vs the Hawks, it would be mildly surprising for them not to play, but that's the scouting report.

I understand the roller coaster season doesn't give anyone confidence in the Hawks, but we've seen it before - vs Knicks and Sixers in 2021. Hawks just need to focus on themselves and have good habits.

Miami was supposed to be focused on the Celtics too.

Oh I definitely agree and see the positive for the Hawks team.  It just gets my blood boiling a little bit because I really want to be in a bar sitting next to these dudes so we can just go at it in a legit argument.  I have a huge desire to defend the Hawks against pompous, arrogant blowhards from New England.  

But I'll gladly settle for soaking up their tears if the "impossible" should happen.  Especially if it happens in Game 1 like the last go round.
