Those are the only guys i had in the top 10 picks for QB prospects with JJ and Nix round 2 to 3 guys and Spencer round 4 or 5. It's sorta funny to me seeing all these people complaining about taking Penix at 8 with 1 pick. I can bet money on it that in a year or 2 when we would need to draft a QB anyways to replace kirk by the end of his contract. They would be absolutely LIVID to have to trade up from 16 to 32 which kirk should have us at picking. To the top 5 for a weaker QB class over the next 2 years compared to this one. If those idiots would be happy to see us do what carolina did and trade 2 to 3 1sts multiple 2nd's and a good vet player like AJ Terrell equivalent to panthers DJ Moore. To go get a worse qb prospect than Penix is now for just 1 pick at 8. Then they are the dumbest people alive imo. I just don't see how anyone can truthfully say Penix at 8 for 1 pick to sit and learn for 2 years behind kirk + picking 5 more players over the next few years with all those picks we keep. Is worse than taking 1 edge rusher or WR now at 8 and giving up 5 premium high round picks and a vet player. I just wanted the team to address the pass rush or the complete lack of any corners outside of AJ Terrell. I just hate paying Kirk Cousins that kind of cheddar and then be like well he's got two years before Penix takes over. What if Cousins is playing great? Why would we kick out him to the curb for an unproven old at that point first time starter? And...this is the Hawks forum lol we can discuss Penix in the other forum Love you too bro.
