2023-24 NBA Regular Season: Notes/Tidbits/Updates etc.

I'm skeptical of the Chet and Wemby thin tower build.  They may have some good moments and good seasons, but sustainable career in the NBA?  Durant can sustain as a SF with that type of body, but Chet has already missed a season.  Guys with their height already usually have a shorter career.

Ralph Sampson basically played 3 years before he was constantly injured.

As good as Chet and SGA are Jaylen Williams slick has the highest entertainment factor for OKC.  It’s like he parachutes and and rides motorcycles on and off the floor lol.

agree on Jdub, he's fantastic.  Been riding his jock since he dominated the game vs ATL last year.

Also looking forward to seeing his younger brother play for Colorado this year.  He's a 5star freshman.

Can't believe any of yall expected that garbage to materialize into must-see TV.  Have you seen the Spurs, and their top pick, play?  They're terrible and he's only watchable in spots.  Unless you enjoy watching a 7'12" guard shooting ill-advised 3's.  He'll be good but right now he's trying to find it.

14. Atlanta Hawks
2023-24 record: 6-4

  • Previous ranking: 9rd-arrow.png

  • Next games: vs. NY (Nov. 15), vs. PHI (Nov. 17), vs. IND (Nov. 21)

The Hawks were 3-6 in games Trae Young missed last season, but Dejounte Murray is doing his part to make sure Atlanta doesn't struggle without their point guard this year. Young missed Tuesday's game for personal reasons, and Murray had 32 points, 10 assists, five rebounds and three steals to lead the Hawks to victory. It was his first 30-point, 10-assist game with Atlanta, a promising sign that the Hawks' offense won't crater if Young misses more time. -- Lopez

Adam Silver is the commissioner of the NBA, I wasn’t talkin ballet 🩰 bro.

Talk basketball and not race and the posts will be fine.  Asking you if you agree with James Harden because you are both black leads to conversations that aren't suitable for Homecourt.  Go ahead and discuss basketball.
