Folks really mad because we didn’t give Murray away for a BS return.

Or maybe they are mad because nobody wanted to take our junk pieces off of our hands.

There is no need to define your Hawks fanhood based on this trade deadline.

Again, it is not the FO’s fault that WE work ourselves up in to a frenzy over trade rumors when they are not the ones pushing these narratives to us.

That’s old and that was after the JC trade I believe where everyone was questioning if we were ducking the tax. So he was answering a direct question. I remember hearing this on 92.9

He's a Hawk AND it doesn't help how we:

1. mismanaged past assets

2. seem directionless

3. have a very young front office

4. have instability in the ownership and front office

It happened. I don't know how long it stuck around. I only knew of it because I was in the middle of class while in undergrad (back when we had Speedy Claxton ~circa 2005-2007) and I noticed the person sitting in front of me was on the squawk, starting that thread. Little dude was fuming in class... 

I think his primary argument was that he was a Dolphins fan and not a hawks fan. But I think he was just mad at him for other reasons.

The updates I have is

Murray already got an offer Atlanta likes. Just not available yet.

Capela is likely sticking and finishing his contract even as a backup. 

Dre price tag is high and unless Atlanta gets another big wing with quality, he's staying for now. Teams don't want to trade 2025 1sts

They were shopping JCs TPE

They also shopped both 1sts separately 

They really shopped everything heavily outside of OO and Bogi. They didn't shop Trae at all and JJ was pulled very early in the process.

It's one thing hearing it from what the Hawks are telling teams. Atlanta was doing buy scenarios where they use JC TPE to add a higher salary player. That's a lot different than the yearly, Tony wants to pay the LT
